Responsibilities:  

  • Establish, develop and maintain excellent business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the USA, to generate new business and increase sales volumes through existing customers
  • Actively engage in and participate in on-location visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers
  • Research prospective customers to determine their potential
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and queries
  • Analyze and summarize data and business metrics, making relevant connections and generating recommendations to develop growth
  • Analyze market trends and spot opportunities
  • Prepare budgets and negotiate with clients to ensure positive growth in order to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Participate in trade shows and conventions
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in USA wholesale and retail, as well as colleagues across all departments within our UK head office
  • Travel internationally multiple times a year to attend meetings
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested

Requirements:

  • Experienced with minimum five years of selling to key accounts
  • Equipped with strong industry contacts and a network within key retailers and department stores across the USA
  • Capable of problem solving and have the ability to determine solutions for customers
  • Existing relationships with Macy's and Amazon 
  • Results orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment
  • Proficient in using all Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Proficient in NuOrder a plus
  • Able to travel nationally and internationally
