Title: Account Executive (Home + Tech)
Company: Fashion and lifestyle agency
Location: New York City
- Drive wholesale business through department stores, specialty chains, and independent boutiques.
- Utilize existing relationships and create new with retailers in home, fashion, tech, and accessories.
- Travel to meet with respective buyers and merchandising trips in season.
- Make product presentations to the buyer to identify assortment plans, sales opportunities, and maximize sales growth.
- Create and maintain seasonal forecasts by door and category.
- Assemble and monitor profitability by account and identify areas of opportunity regarding sell-through, markdowns, cancellations, returns, etc.; make recommendations to customers.
- Set up and work trade shows.
- Partner with finance and operations to ensure proper credit, shipping, and bookings for each customer.
- Manage communications and feedback between individual customers, and internal partners.
- Minimum of three (3) years wholesale sales experience in fashion, home, tech, and or accessories
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; highly detail oriented and meticulous.
- Strong existing relationships with buyers of home and tech accessories.
- Must be a problem solver
- Able to work with a small team and grow with a changing business.
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment.
- Ability to travel often/as needed.
- Proficient in MS Office/ strong MS Excel skills preferred.
