Title: Visual Merchandising/Brand Manager

Responsibilities:
• Partner, coach and develop Seasonal Themes, Key Looks and merchandising presentation in retail stores and Brand Ambassadors in pop-up shops to understand corporate visual merchandising standards
• Organize and conduct visual merchandising training sessions for retail and pop-up shops 
• Instill accountability in stores and pop-up shops to maintain visual standards
• Develop, execute corporate visual merchandising guidelines across assigned retail stores and pop-up shops
• Develop, implement window displays and in-store installations according to layout of retail store and pop-up shops. 
• Actively participate with store management team to make the best visual decisions for that store whilst maintaining the corporate visual standards
• Regularly assess and assist product merchandising of all categories for assigned retail stores to ensure standards are maintained (Include sourcing and ordering props and vignette items)
• Partner with the District Manager to plan and implement floor moves 
• Participate in new store openings across all regions as required
• Demonstrate awareness of current advertising and marketing campaigns, new product launches and update store visuals accordingly
• Put forward ideas and suggestions for the merchandising of the product
• Participate in the organization of special in-store events (retail stores and pop-up shops) where necessary
• Ensure corporate visual guidelines are distributed and implemented successfully and on time in assigned retail stores and pop-up shops
• Follow up on store Visual check list to ensure standards in collaboration with operations
• Ensure merchandise used on display in retail stores is accounted for and cared for properly
• Be budget aware and control display budget for assigned stores
• Communicate visual calendar and priorities to the store teams
• Partner with the District manager to visit stores and pop-up shops in the district 
• Partner with District Manager and pop-up teams for feedback insight regarding local execution 
• Communicate local market insight, competitor intelligence and hindsight analysis to corporate partners

Qualifications: 

  • Degree in Marketing, Fashion Merchandising or related field or equivalent business experience
  • 3-5 years visual merchandising experience preferably with a high end luxury brand
  • Comprehensive understanding of merchandising initiatives and development process
  • Knowledge of window installation
  • Keen understanding of Adobe Indesign with a proven track record of vinyl design and installation
  • Previous history on developing, maintaining or working within a visual directive and guideline
  • Strong knowledge of markets for prop sourcing and allocation
  • Including painting, how to use power tools and the ability to adapt directives as they pertain to each individual store 
  • Ability to take the lead on all merchandise presentation and store sets across retail stores and pop-up doors
  • Relationship management and training
