Reports to: District Manager
Attract, hire, develop, inspire, and retain top sales talent to achieve company set store goals.
Maximize sales potential by coaching and developing employee clienteling behaviors.
Regularly be in the market to network with and be aware of top talent at other retailers, creating a succession plan across all levels.
Understand fashion and retail brands and be able to drive performance of the business.
Plan and adjust schedule and daily agendas to meet business goals.
Must maximize scheduling, recruiting, and coaching skills to help store meet/exceed its goals.
Analyze business and create clear action plans to achieve daily, weekly, monthly, seasonal ,and ongoing sales goals.
Manage store operating procedures including inventory procedures and cash handling initiatives to minimize store losses.
Set goals and manage to expectations through clear communication of sales, operational procedures, performance standards, dress code, and all other company policies and procedures.
Help deter loss prevention and minimize loss by following company guidelines and procedures.
Maintain knowledge of, and adhere to all company incentives, promotions, and events.
Ensure effective team communication regarding goals, product info, company initiatives, and scheduling.
Seek ways to build relationships with customers to create loyal clients; develop employees to build those relationships as well.
Maintain presence through effective floor sales leadership ensuring staff coverage in all areas.
Ensure brand standards are met from a merchandise and visual standard perspective as well as maintenance of store.
Lead consistent focus on delivering the perfect brand and in-store experience.
Seeks ways to build relationships with customers, creating regular clients and developing employees to build these relationships.
Respect and demonstrate fairness with employees, vendors, and customers as a representative of the company and the brand.
Take the initiative in addressing unique challenges and do so in collaborative, innovative, and value-added ways.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Min. of 2-5 years retail store management experience.
Proven ability to drive sales results in a high-level clienteling environment.
Experience working in an advanced contemporary or high-end luxury retail setting.
Full understanding of store operations and prior experience managing a freestanding retail store location and sales team.
Training, interviewing, planning, organizational, and performance management skills.
Interest in fashion and knowledgeable about current trends.
Effective communication, organization, and leadership skills
