Job Summary:

The Store Director ia in charge of driving, with strategic vision to achieve and exceed set financial targets whilst providing an exceptional customer-service experience. Being a natural leader, they will ensure the development of all staff, to deliver outstanding results whilst maintaining operational excellence.


  • To liaise with Senior Retail Management regarding financial budgets relating to the store and to ensure the store management team are updated, weekly, as to the stores financial set targets
  • To monitor any discrepancies that might occur with regard to takings or stock, ensuring stock levels are correct and up-to-date
  • To maintain and increase sales throughout the year; to drive strategy and initiatives to achieve and exceed set financial targets
  • To maintain a high level of customer service at all times within the store
  • To increase the shop customer base by actively pursuing new audience
  • To grow existing customer spending by instructing the staff on weekly clienteling routines, and reporting the HQ on results
  • To ensure that the Shop is always merchandised to the company’s desired standard and that the visual displays are changed on a weekly or monthly basis
  • To maintain close communication with the company’s corporate office
  • To manage all of the staff within the Shop; recruitment, induction, training, discipline and appraisals
  • To hold weekly meetings with Shop Management, to keep up-dated and to receive feedback on all relevant shop matters
  • To ensure that the staff are given relevant product training throughout the year
  • To ensure that all shop staff are well presented and portray an appropriate company image


  • 5+ years of Store Management experience, 2+ years in contemporary or luxury
  • Strong business driver/leadership skills
  • Multi-tasking abilities
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong HR and performance management experience
  • Positive, Creative, Inquisitive, Art/Design Background/Interests a plus
  • BA degree in business or fashion preferred
