Responsibilities

Achieve sales targets for accounts within assigned market and cultivate new business for further brand growth. Manage relationships with key internal and external partners. Develop annual sales & product strategy to drive sales performance for each account.

  • Responsible for management and growth of key account channel, including department stores, shoe chains and apparel specialty stores
  • Monitor weekly sales performance to interpret trends and identify in season risks and/ or opportunities
  • Ongoing sales and stock analysis to determine key re-orders and new approaches to optimize sales and profitability
  • Partner with Customer Service manager to ensure seamless order receipt and fulfillment
  • Identify door, space and category expansion opportunities and methods to achieve sustainable growth within existing accounts
  • Partner with Sales Director to develop sales objectives and go to market strategy for all key accounts and potential leads
  • Retailer profitability analysis and management  inclusive of settling end of season margins and ensuring optimal EOS stock levels
  • Partner with Merchandise Manager to develop an assortment plan for each retail channel
  • Travel to all accounts for market appointments, business review and product training
  • Attend trade shows and in-store events as needed
  • Coach and mentor direct report for long term growth and development
  • Execute special projects on an as needed basis

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of Wholesale and/or Buying experience
  • Experience working with accounts such as Dillards, Journeys, DSW, Macys, Bloomingdales as well as speciality stores is ideal
  • Footwear sales experience is preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of retail math and concepts
  • Experience building assortment plans and sales projections
  • Strong sales driver with proven success in achieving and exceeding financial targets
  • Ability to plan resources effectively, anticipate obstacles and develop solutions 
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills with a focus on building long-term partnerships
  • Ability to be resourceful and problem solve effectively
  • Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills 
  • Cross functional influencing skills to drive profitability and efficiency
  • Ability to travel 30% of the time
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Bachelors Degree
