Seeking a Senior Account Manager with 5+ years of experience. Must have a strong emphasis on CPG experience, as the goal is to expand new business into the mass market (i.e., Rite Aids, convenience drug stores, Target, etc.).

This role can be based anywhere on the east coast and the candidate can work remote!!

Title: Senior Account Manager

Location: Remote (Geographically based on East Coast)
Responsibilities/Requirements

Sales & Strategy

1. Drives the strategy and infuses the business vision into professional relationships in designated customer base
2. Maintains a constant influence with every customer, ensuring role is intensely focused on forging new relationships, managing accounts, and building loyalty by providing quality experiences for business customers
3. Manages profitability of each account relationship by regulating assortment prices, coop/advertising spend, returns and non-compliance penalties
4. Builds a strong business relationship that helps company succeed and enables our customer’s stores to reach and exceed performance goals
5. Bridges the worlds of retail, corporate, and business development by combining the company vision with field execution to create future business success for our customer’s stores

Project Management & Marketing
1. Coordinates promotions and campaigns with distributors and key accounts
2. Implements the merchandising solutions for tester units, POS materials, answers local marketing plan needs

3. Supports trade shows and event execution to support new launches or special promotional activities: fairs, events, promotions in store, promotional activities with the retailers in-store
4. Gathers necessary information or marketing requests, such as ads, and customizes POS material (key content, dimensions, intention for use, according to design template)

5. Supports sales teams with new launches, conquest of new clients, entering new markets and special projects
6. Attends events and meetings as required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1. Ability to take initiative, be proactive and work independently with minimum supervision
2. Dedication, goal oriented and ability to manage teams and meet strict deadlines
3. Demonstrated ability to thrive in a highly visible fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities
4. Result-driven with a high level of motivation and persistence
5. Demonstrated track record of coordinating and supporting successful events or communications
6. Ability to lead and influence cross-functional relationships with both internal and external partners
7. Proven ability to drive incremental revenue, create new relationships and manage existing ones and build loyalty within a market region

8. Strong understanding on how to position solutions for business clients

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (in marketing, sales or business administration preferred)

5+ years’ experience in a similar role

Experience working for a well-established CPG or FMCG company
Intermediate proficiency with Google Suite applications

Extremely organized with the ability to use to-do lists, automatized reports, project management software

Critical thinking and strive for excellence in everything created

Strong communications skills with the ability to clearly communicate in English both verbally and in writing, to include strong presentation skills

Ability to work flexible and remote schedule (work hours will be based on business needs)

Ability to travel domestically and internationally
