The Sales Manager is responsible for achieving target sales profitability, growth and account penetration within their assigned territory and market segment by effectively selling company’s products. She/he will personally contact and secure new prospect accounts as well as maximize sales performance with existing customers.

  • Promoting/selling/securing orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach
  • Demonstrating products to existing/potential customers, educating them on the different products, and supporting them in selecting those best suited to their needs
  • Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory to generate new business for products
  • Research sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential
  • Develop clear and effective written proposals for current and prospective customers
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints, liaising with Customer Service
  • Coordinate sales effort with Customer Service, Marketing, Accounting, and Logistics
  • Implement sales training programs that enable in store staff to achieve their potential and support sales objectives
  • Analyze the territory’s potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customers
  • Supply management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting, including weekly reporting to senior management
  • Keep abreast of product trends, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends
  • Participate in trade shows


  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role within the sales and sales management area
  • Bachelor’s degree with relevant business experience in marketing or business leadership
  • Strong understanding of Intimates market, competition and retail landscape
  • Proven ability to achieve/exceed goals
  • Strong aptitude for financial and business planning
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
  • Able to travel
  • Bilingual abilities (Spanish) a plus
