Job Description

Store Management:
  • Enthusiastically hire, develop, and lead the team at your store to provide a great guest experience and fulfill our mission to create fun with delicious food.
  • Use operational tools such as Profit and Loss Statement, Daily Business Review, Cash & Deposit Log, Brink, and Data Central scheduling, and inventory management tools to achieve excellence.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers (inventory management, shipments, etc.) Review store environment and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement and adjust accordingly.
  • Manage cash activities for the store (daily deposits, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with food safety guidelines in your store at all times; ensure all Team Members are in compliance as well.
  • Own and promote brand standards in alignment with company vision.
  • Ensure store appearance and cleanliness are upheld and consistent with brand standards.
  • Drive implementation of company programs through action planning and inspiring team to meet operational standards.
  • Develop local store marketing plans to support brand initiatives, including initiating community outreach through marketing and special events.
  • Recognize and reinforce individual and team accomplishments by using existing tools and programs as well as finding new, creative and effective methods of recognition.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Training, Human Resources, and Marketing to deliver the best community experience.
  • Training Management:
  • Create and facilitate training schedule and lead on-site operational training for General Managers, and Team Members within assigned region.
  • Lead and/or assist in the delivery of various training programs for new and existing Franchise Partners.
  • Train on all aspects needed to operate a store per brand standards.
  • Identify learning gaps and design training strategies to help execute operational standards and procedures.
  • Ensure stores are staffed accordingly using company staffing matrix.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Operations as a test location for new initiatives

  • Certified as a Smoothie King General Manager and has successfully completed management training.
  • Current assigned store must be meeting all financial and operational targets.
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a manager or supervisor of a team in a restaurant or similar type of retail customer service business.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook.
  • Ability to work the hours needed to run your store effectively, which might include a variety of days, evenings, weekends, holidays.
  • Experience with OSHA, EEOC, and other federal and state laws and local statutes. ServSafe Certification required.
  • Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time (6 to 8 hours).
  • Must be able to lift and/or move items up to 25 pounds.
