Responsibilities:

  • Liaison between design, production, merchandising, trim development, & technical design 
  • Communicate with factories and vendors daily to resolve pending issues and ensure deadlines are on target
  • Attend design hand off meetings  as requested and identify any issues, such as long lead times and mill minimum requirements
  • Coordinate with trim development on the sourcing, costing, and development time line status of each product’s trim raw materials
  • Ensure clear and complete tech packages (Images, BOM’s, Product Note Pages) are generated in PLM and sent to vendors for development
  • Oversee timelines and work closely with Design, Fabric and Trim Development to ensure timely approval of fabrics, trims, washes, mock-up’s, prototypes, etc. from development through to bulk approval
  • Generate Color Palettes for internal use and send color copies to factories/mills indicating CMS Color standards they are to request through the TDCR
  • Review of lab dips and color matching for patterns and key item programs
  • Attend fittings and line reviews
  • Partner with Design and Production to facilitate the development of product, consistent with all aesthetic and financial expectations
  • Responsible for sending out yarn development tech pack
  • Coordinate with Production team and testing to ensure the final product is handed off for production close out and testing

Requirements:

  • College education degree required
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in apparel industry with strong project management skills, ideally within a garment manufacturing sourcing environment  
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to manage deadlines
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Excellent understanding of product development and process
  • Ability to facilitate change and implement process improvements
  • Computer knowledge – Flex PLM, Outlook, Excel, Word, WebPDM
  • General knowledge of knit category and production

Pay: $20/hr.
