Job Title:        Payroll Manager

Location:       Greenwich, Connecticut 
 

Position Summary: Responsible for successfully managing company payroll including processing, reporting, HR maintenance, and communication with third party processor. 

 
Functions and Responsibilities:

Payroll:

  • Administer multi-state payroll for 5 companies (biweekly & semimonthly schedules)
  • Handle employee verification requests
  • Collaborate with ADP on payroll issues
  • ADP System Maintenance (new hires, resignations, internal transfers & status changes)
  • Distribute payroll reports to Finance for general ledger every payroll cycle
  • Process annual payrolls for Common Review Process
  • Provide payroll data for various company financial audits
  • Respond to agency tax notifications and update ADP with SUI tax rate changes each year/quarter
  • Distribute W2 forms annually to all employees
  • Act as a contact person for employees regarding payroll and tax questions
  • Coordinate with legal counsel on state payroll tax and unemployment account registrations

General Administration:

  • Manage PTO approvals for all employees via ADP system
  • Produces reports to Senior Management on a weekly basis as needed
  • Assist HR with college recruitment program and attend career fairs
  • Provide new hire information to Accounting team for Concur set up

Education:

  • 4 year college degree, preferably in Business or Finance

Experience:

  • 3+  years’ payroll experience, preferred
  • Experience with ADP software, preferred
