Responsibilities:

We are searching for a director of brand marketing and communication efforts across all channels with a focus on building brand awareness and driving sales. The ideal candidate will be a strategic, creative, and results-driven leader. This role will oversee the planning, development and execution of the company's marketing strategy and initiatives that are consistently tied to our underlying brand principles, value proposition and customer needs. We are looking for exceptional leadership skills and big picture thinking with proven ability to execute and drive results.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: 

STRATEGY & PLANNING

  • Oversee the Marketing & Communications strategy, responsible for growing brand awareness and sales through effective, results-oriented 360-degree marketing campaigns, partnerships, press and events
  • Brainstorm, strategize, and drive direct to consumer driven marketing campaigns that promote Tanya Taylor collections across digital, ecommerce and offline
  • Invent unique in-person touch points and drive creative partnerships that will strengthen customer connection to Tanya Taylor
  • Oversee PR & Brand Communications Manager to develop and deliver on seasonal press strategy inclusive of brand features, red-carpet strategy and celebrity placement
  • Maintain Marketing & Communications budget to manage department spending
  • Oversee OOH, print and digital advertising with strategic timing 

EVENTS & PRODUCTION

  • Lead conceptualization, production, logistics and press for all events including seasonal fashion presentations and major activations
  • Spearhead seasonal look books and specials shoots from concept to delivery
  • Execution of partnerships and special projects 

RETAIL & DIGITAL CHANNELS

  • Proactively engage wholesale accounts to maximize brand opportunities and keep brand top of mind for customers; maintain daily communication
  • Create and maintain brand communications calendar that covers ecommerce, email marketing, and social media with a goal of pushing product and maximizing sales
  • Manage brand social media direction and lead paid social efforts with a goal of driving traffic and conversion for ecommerce site

Requirements:

  • Passionate about the brand and product
  • Experience in developing unique and thoughtful partnerships
  • Out of the box and creative thinker
  • 6-8 years of marketing experience
  • Detail-oriented, team player with creative problem solving and excellent communication skills
  • Flexibility & Time Management: ability to multi-task, prioritize workload and take responsibilities for deadlines
  • Ability to establish strong working relationships with cross functional teams
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
