Job Description:

  • Strategically cultivate new accounts and seek opportunities to promote and sell the brands activewear line; assist with sales growth expand business with existing core accounts; strategize means to penetrate new markets and build sales volume, and maintain business relationships with customers
  • Secure sales goals in market that achieve or exceed sales levels determined by agreed upon business and financial plans.
  • Develop and implement business plan for accounts to achieve corporate sales goals; make recommendations to further drive the business
  • Be accountable and responsible to deliver the monthly sales forecast including follow through on timely confirmations and resolution of all order changes.
  • Manage and develop account business strategies (i.e. plans, sales, stock, mark downs and advertising proposals), project trends and opportunities and implement recommendations.
  • Provide competitive business inputs and strategic ideas for new product development and sales channels.
  • travel as required to drive sales.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in the apparel/active industry with major and specialty accounts.
  • Must have strong relationships with major department stores and specialty stores -Preference is for experience with a Background with the following accounts to be considered: Saks, Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, Revolve, Bandier, Carbon38, Shopbop, Von Maur, Equinox, Soul Cycle, Core Power etc.
  • Experience working Accounts’ management and buying teams.
  • Must be able to understand complex business issues, and find creative ways to solve problems, while representing the company as a brand advocate.
  • Must be analytical, detailed, highly organized and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Excel and Power Point.
