Purpose: Provide a diverse array of competencies in the key HR disciplines such as recruitment, performance management, employee relations, organizational effectiveness, change management and training and development initiatives.  

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with managers to coach, provide advice and solutions relating to employee issues including advice on state and federal employment law
  • Provides consultation to managers in areas of organizational effectiveness and development, change management, team development and communication strategies.  Anticipate and address organizational issues and challenges
  • Ensure that all new employees have a comprehensive on-boarding program
  • Ensure all salary actions, promotions, terminations, etc. are managed in a consistent way
  • Develop and interpret company policies and procedures as needed

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred as is professional certification
  • 5+ years HR exp. with luxury goods/fashion sector
  • Must possess strong consultative, decision-making, problem solving, analytical and consultative skills matched with excellent judgment
  • Expertise in employee relations including conducting internal investigations
  • Well-versed in change management, negotiation and conflict resolution
