Roles and Responsibilities – Digital Performance Marketing Manager

  • Manage the day-to-day development and execution of holistic performance digital marketing programs
  • Oversee digital marketing agency relationship(s) and monthly campaign performance analysis reporting
  • Oversee marketing tracking, analytics and hindsight’s
  • Create strategic media plans to drive ecommerce goals
  • Responsible for the execution of campaigns on digital channels including email, paid social media, Display, SEO, SEM, affiliate among others
  • Manage the marketing calendar which includes promotional support, holiday events, and core brand initiatives/launches
  • Work collaboratively with all relevant counterparts to successfully plan marketing messages and merchandising priorities
  • Manage the creation of all email campaigns and triggered marketing campaigns, performing A/B tests, testing and optimizing content across devices and tracking the results
  • Monitor performance across KPIs, and create optimization plans to ensure programs scale efficiently
  • Grow and maintain the customer database through the development of acquisition, retention and reactivation strategies centered around effective lifecycle management
  • Ensure cohesive messaging across all touchpoints, on site and off site
  • Own CRM/customer data to identify opportunities across customer segments, and recommend strategies & marketing plans to optimize to target them

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelors (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or equivalent – marketing or related degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of performance marketing experience
  • Direct experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics
  • Working knowledge of paid search, shopping engines, display, affiliates, SEO, social media is required
  • A solid understanding of CRM and online marketing practices, including email marketing, segmentation
  • Previous email marketing experience along with performance analysis and reporting
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, customer service and follow-up skills
  • Ability to develop and foster partner relations
  • Ability to interact successfully with diverse individuals at all levels
  • Ability to make prudent decisions under pressure and deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task projects with equal priority
  • Creative problem solver with strategic thinking skills and strong business acumen
