Looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to lead the Finance function in the US (New York and Los Angeles offices). The candidate should have experience in working within a fast-paced agency environment.

The responsibilities of the Finance Manager include, but are not limited to accounting and controlling functions:

  • Management of the financial operations:
    • Management of the client revenue and AR function - Oversee monthly billings, income allocation and collection process
    • Management of the costs and AP function – Ensure a strong cost control and manage vendor relationships
    • Administration of the payroll function – management of statutory payroll/wage compliance, state and federal. Execution and upkeep of payroll company policies. Execution, enrollment, and maintenance of staff benefits: health, retirement, commuter, compensatory
  • Management of the company's financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems
  • Preparation of accurate financial accounts on a monthly basis: P&L, balance sheet, cash flow statement
  • Analysis of the financial performance, providing insightful commentary to Group Finance and US Top Management
  • Identification of initiatives that could improve the performance, use of commercial acumen to give input on the strategic direction of the company
  • Management of the Finance Team in charge of billing and accounting
  • Building collaborative relationships across all functions and countries
  • Management of the relationships with key stakeholders: chartered accountant, payroll supplier, auditors, insurers, bankers, lawyers, and other professionals in relation to financial matters
  • Develop and maintain the US cash flow forecasting model
  • Prepare and present budgets and variances, ensure corporate budgeting processes are carried out and reviewed
  • Prepare and present regular income forecasts; inclusive of an ongoing pipeline review
  • Ensure that the regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met
  • Ensure that the companies exercise best practice in terms of all financial related functions within the business; ensure that financial systems and reporting methods are robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth


  • Qualified member of an accountancy body or holder of an equivalent qualification
  • Analytical skills, problem-solving approach strong attention to detail and an investigative nature
  • IT skills, o/w good knowledge of Excel
  • Leadership, potential to motivate others
  • Communication skills
  • High integrity and openness combined with commitment to good governance
  • Energetic, highly motivated, with an inquiring mind
  • Business acumen
  • Experience in working within an agency setting would be a plus
  • Meet the requirement for a commercially astute, articulate, technically strong, dynamic, insightful and influential leader with the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels

SALARY: Dependent on experience
