Director of E-commerce

Job Title: Freelance Director of E-commerce

Key Responsibilities

• Achieves sales and margin targets by implementing technical and non-technical strategies and initiatives that will drive product revenue, margin, sell-through.
• Analyze weekly selling reports
• Identify slow/no selling items and determine merchandising decisions to improve performance
• Visually and analytically merchandise and sort the website
• Performs daily site updates including product activation, categorization, image upload management, size
• Work with category Buyers on product assortment and create merchandising strategy based on buy plan; provide product recommendations and product feedback to assist in buying process
• Implement and optimize navigation based on current product assortment and seasonality
• Work closely with internal teams to create and manage category promotions and site-wide campaigns
• Work with customer insights and analytics data to support decision making, and provide new ideas

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Must have experience with Shopify
• Must have experience working with digital marketing, analytics and buying for ecommerce
• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient in MS Excel and Word with the ability to learn new programs
• Ability to successfully prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Detail Oriented, excellent organizational skills
• Must be able to work cross-functionally
• Proactive, flexible, and hard working
• Must be able to multitask
