Job Description

  • Work in partnership with the relevant senior leadership teams in the UK/US to set & execute an agreed digital marketing strategy to deliver our customer & e-commerce objectives in the US
  • To actively manage, develop & localize US digital marketing through identifying & utilizing local agencies; leveraging best practice & coordinating plans with the UK where appropriate

Required

  • At least 5 years broad experience of managing digital marketing and digital customer acquisition and retention for a leading US retailer or brand
  • Knowledge and up to date expertise of working across all the major social media platforms
  • Experience of setting up and running third party relationships and marketing partnerships
  • Demonstrable experience of running and managing digital marketing campaigns working with multiple stakeholders, preferably across geographical locations
  • Use of e-commerce marketing applications and tools such as Emails, Personalization, Apps, CRM, Analytics & Refer a friend
  • Proven digital skills to set up and measure digital acquisition and retention programs using the latest marketing techniques
  • Experience of working with both specialist and full-service digital agencies

Key Responsibilities

  • The role will participate in key meetings with the UK team to ensure US consideration & knowledge is integrated into campaign plans, and will take responsibility for local execution of global campaigns
  • The role is tasked with developing and growing the marketing team in line with their US growth so that specialist areas such as CRM and partnerships can be executed with the appropriate knowledge and skill in the appropriate time
  • Creating fully fledged digital and e-commerce marketing skill set and team within US over a three year time frame
  • Managing the US marketing coordinator to ensure agency activity is delivered successfully, monitoring via agreed KPI’s
  • Managing, evaluating and sourcing digital agencies across the US market, ensuring we over index in key strategic states
  • Ensure all brand collateral and marketing activity is managed to agreed guidelines for digital activity
  • In conjunction with the US Marketing Director develop multi-channel marketing and social campaigns to support the strategic aims of driving customer growth & expanding brand awareness
  • In conjunction with the US Marketing Director & US Head of Merchandising ensure the E-commerce marketing campaign and activity calendar is fully localized for the US market
