Title: Digital Brand Marketing + Social Strategist

Location: Long Island City, NY

We're seeking a Digital Brand Marketing + Social Media Strategist who will be responsible for developing paid and non-paid digital marketing, social media and content strategies, helping to grow a client's business through a variety of online and social channels.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development and overseeing the execution of Digital Brand Marketing + Social Media Strategy for multiple brands. As a senior level manager and strategic thinker, this role acts as a liaison to inform digital marketing, content strategy, content creation and successfully integrating content across all customer touch points. The successful candidate shall also be responsible for developing out-of-the box content solutions for social media campaigns. This position works closely with several key groups including our Marketing team as well as our e-Commerce, Retail and Licensing teams. This position will report directly into the Vice President of Marketing.

THE JOB

  • Manage digital brand marketing strategy and opportunities
  • Manage the execution of content and social strategy across all touch points and platforms
  • Manage the flow of content creation to ensure content is developed in a timely manner, proactively finding opportunities and efficiencies to maximize content opportunities
  • Manage influencer programs
  • Oversee the development of the content calendar across all social platforms to support the marketing of the brand
  • Develop and execute paid, earned and owned campaigns across social and digital efforts
  • Assist in content creation and user generated content moderation as needed
  • Drive weekly, monthly and quarterly analytics reporting process for global social media results and influencer outreach programs and work closely with the Vice President of Marketing to provide insights, recommendations and track against KPIs
  • Manage social listening reports to provide consumer insights on a regular basis, in addition to pre and post new product and campaign launches
  • Lead social and community management for key product launches, events and activations
  • Align and work with legal for contest, campaigns and influencers to ensure all programs are executed properly

 

THE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising or Business preferred
  • Strong desire to inspire creativity, innovative thinking and strong marketing concepts and solutions
  • Interest in and aptitude for developing digital brand marketing, social media and content strategy solutions across a variety of industries (fashion, luxury at a global brand is preferred, editorial background is a plus)
  • Minimum of 5 years' of social media experience for a consumer brand and/or digital/social media agency
  • Possesses understanding of Social advertising campaign management and optimization practices across the biggies, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram
  • Monitors the latest trends in social media, including advertising formats, channels and technologies in order to improve campaign performance and provide recommendations
  • Strategic thinker with an in-depth understanding of analytics and social reporting
  • Compile and analyze data across several social media platforms and create weekly/monthly reports, including analysis for insights, optimizations and future strategy development. Comfortable with digital and social analytics software (I.e. Track Maven)
  • Demonstrates strategic insight to develop long term execution plans from client's stated business objectives and implement those plans
  • Displays organizational capabilities to track progress, execution and consistency of social advertising campaigns
  • Exhibits solid communication skills in order to effectively present strategic and tactical plans to clients and internal teams - new business experience a plus
  • Demonstrates understanding of and ability to facilitate and manage forecasting, budgeting and pacing, campaign creation and optimization
  • Possesses well developed analytical ability to extract insight from data and plan next steps across multiple marketing mediums
  • Organized with the ability to self-manage through project managing skills in making tight deadlines across teams
  • Enjoys and supports working on a team while being highly energetic and flexible in adhering to shifting deadlines
