Responsibilities:

  • Counter source fabric/trim based on descriptions from design team to meet product intention
  • Negotiate fabric/trim costs, lead-times and minimums with mills and suppliers
  • Maintain on up-to-date log of development fee and under minimum surcharge, and communicate with manager for approval
  • Manage Style review meetings with fit, sales, design, and ensure the team is aware of necessary details, ready dates, preliminary costs and other essential information
  • Manage sample making process: Timeline check, clarify details with design team and vendors (From first proto sample to finalized sales sample and photoshoot samples) and review fit comments with technical designer
  • Track approval process : lab dip, dye lot, washing effect, hand feel and shade band, and trims
  • Issue POs based on design/sales plan and share with team for RLM updates over changes.
  • Follow up fast chase order (reorder) from special buyer exclusive in a tighter time line
  • Support manager to update WIP report with style, costing, development/production status, and q’ty, and support sales/logistic team
  • Confirm label and packing instruction with sales and logistic teams to give garment factories a direction
  • Review PP and TOP samples with technical designer and report to manager for final approval on production/shipment
  • Monitor product quality and delivery and provide improvement solutions to team and vendors when encountering issues
  • Follow up customer/store call outs after shipment and investigate the root cause and find an action plan for the future seasons

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ in production experience required
  • 1year+ in Denim filed is strongly preferred
  • Strong communication skill with flexibility to seek the best production solution possible in the situation
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of SAP/PLM/ A2000 system preferred
  • Demonstrates curiosity and desire to learn and grow

Salary: Dependent on experience.
