Title: Account Executive, Trade + Home Design

Company Description: Startup e-Commerce Modern Design + Home Goods Brand

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Responsibilities:

  • Be an expert on all products including how a product is made, how to care for it, how to customize, etc.

  • Act as a Brand Ambassador and Community Manager for the brand and continue to build the brand's cult following.

  • Prospect new business opportunities for the brand to work with designers through cold calling, direct email marketing, attending networking events, and using network connections.

  • Connect and expand your network with interior designers to collaborate and work with and sign on to the trade accounts program.

  • Develop relationships and support existing trade accounts.

  • Manage acquired trade accounts and assist on all business efforts with the brand.

  • Strategize on initiatives to increase sales to achieve or exceed company financial goals.

  • Partner with our Customer Service Dept. to best serve our trade partners and ensure a great customer experience.

  • Create and host Lulu and Georgia events that support our brand and serve as community building opportunities for designers

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create collateral and expand brand to the designer market

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree is a relevant field or equivalent work experience.

  • Min. of 3+ years of account executive/management experience in the interior design + home interiors industry; showroom exp. is a plus!

  • A current + active book of interior designers, clients, and contacts.

  • Be passionate about the industry + have a current pulse on the home interior design industry!

  • Excellent written + verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to time management and give the best customer service experience by having a timely and thoughtful follow-up in order to create trust and build strong relationships with customers.

  • Self- motivated and possesses the desire to learn and grow within the organization + brand family.

  • Proven ability to drive business results through problem-solving and determination.

  • Willing to travel within the United States (as needed).

  • Must live in the Los Angeles area and have a car and a valid driver's license.
