Company Description: Successful jewelry company seeks a Customer Service Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Answering customer/retailer calls/emails
  • Processing remakes/returns; tracking remakes/returns
  • Packing and shipping
  • Setting up new accounts
  • Evaluating customer complaints/returns; implementing appropriate solutions
  • Sending invoices to retailers upon request
  • Daily notification to retailers of unreleased orders
  • Manage/track retailer returns
  • Coordinating rush orders (including production in NYC)
  • Editing/exporting DXF files for special orders
  • Checking all order confirmations for issues 
  • Checking work emails and responding to urgent requests nights and weekends

Requirements:

  •          High energy, friendly and positive
  •          Thick skin and emotionally stable
  •          Able to work in a fast paced environment and manage stress/pressure
  •          Able to manage and handle irate, impatient customers positively
  •          Excellent communication skills – written and oral
  •          High attention to detail and proactive
  •          High sense of urgency – shows they care about their work, customers and colleagues requests
  •          Jewelry background preferred
