Job Title: Mid-level/Senior Graphic Designer

Duration: Target Start Date: ASAP End Date: 3 months

PROJECT/SKILLS

Describe the job and project they will be tasked with: Develop innovative design solutions for marketing materials; Digital emails/promos/site banners, print signage, direct mail, special seasonal initiatives. More heavily focused on digital. a. Initiate concepts and work independently and /or with Sr. Design personnel. b. Present multiple solutions per project. c. Design weekly campaigns using templates and tool kits, with an understanding of brand standards. d. Review/approve mechanical files produced by Production Artists. e. Jump on hot projects and be a quick thinker. f. Problem solve and come up with creative solutions when design tweaks are needed. g. Execute tactical direction from Art Directors efficiently. h. Juggle multiple projects, independently manage workload, and deliver work on time. i. Effectively communicate expectations with the Studio Manager and Project Manager.

Strong typography and layout skills. b. A keen eye for detail along with a healthy mix of creative and technical know-how. c. Must be able to work quickly and also remain extremely detail-oriented. d. Strong coordination with creative team.

Retail or agency experience preferred. b. Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign. BA in Graphic Design 

Not too heavily geared to UX/UI design

Design 4-5 new email, site or print assets in a week. Attend weekly review meetings and listen to feedback. Work with Senior Designer/AD to make revisions based on cross-functional feedback. Juggle multiple projects in different stages. Work with Production Artists to handoff files and approve final files.

QUALIFICATIONS: 
• BA in Graphic Design or related area. 
• Self-starter with 3-5 years’ experience. 
• Retail or agency experience preferred. 
• Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign. 
• Strong organizational and time management skills. 
• Ability to prioritize. 
• Knowledge of printing process and color separation a plus.
