Responsibilities: 

The Director Digital Acquisition will develop, execute, and optimize our multi-channel, paid media programs (digital, paid search, social media ads, remarketing) with a strong focus on acquiring new customers that develop into long-term, high-value clients. Accountable to develop and execute search & display advertising strategy for the organization; directly manage and sequentially tune campaigns to acquire customers, generate revenue, and create greater brand awareness.

  • Develop and manage a multi-channel, LTV & ROI oriented advertising strategy 
  • Develop and execute strategies for driving scalable revenue from our digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels
  • Establish sound metrics for all digital advertising; consistently track and report performance
  • Balance short-term and long-term objectives, as well as revenue and brand building objectives
  • Drive customer acquisition through effective programs that convert into pipeline, while managing effectiveness and efficiency
  • Create an ROI positive system for acquiring new clients via advertising 
  • Expert in digital advertising including: SEM, display, retargeting, negotiation, supply & demand side ecosystems, performance optimization using scientific experimentation, attribution models, optimization of multi-touch advertising models.
  • Owns overall strategy for being world class in both performance and luxury inbound advertising
  • Successful history of personally managing digital advertising campaigns
  • Manage overall ad spend to stay within budget.
  • Drive the creation of creative assets for advertising

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a scientific or quantitative field
  • 7+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Expert in SEM and other online advertising efforts
  • A clear understanding of Google analytics and other digital analytics tools from both a usage and an implementation point-of-view
  • Entrepreneurial mind-set, with an understanding of what it takes to work for a start-up company
  • Strong analytical skills including expertise in Excel, SQL and statistics
  • Deep understanding of the digital media landscape including mobile advertising, native advertising, programmatic display and content marketing
  • Understanding of eCommerce, preferably in a fashion or luxury environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects on various levels with different and converging timelines
