Responsibilities: As Director of Media Marketing  you are responsible for leading communications planning and tactical media planning/buying across all  Company NA retail brands. This role will be the key media lead, across all media channels, within NA with daily interactions with senior marketing executives across all brands and with corporate HQ office in Milan.  The Director of Media Marketing will be responsible for providing a strong point of view and recommendations of changing media landscape across all offline and online channels (especially in Digital – display, SEM, SEO, social, video, display and programmatic).  It is equally important to have a strong strategy, communications planning background, digital mindset/leadership and ability to influence internal and external team members. 

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience, ideally in media and including in-depth knowledge across offline and online not limited to:  TV (national and local), Digital (display, SEM, SEO, social, mobile video, programmatic, display), Print, OOH, at a media agency or client-side
  • Digital media planning/buying experience a must, i.e. SEM, SEO, social, mobile, display, video, programmatic
  • Experience with direct retail media or Agency working on large omni-channel retail media
  • Ability to work cross functionally and engage with Senior Executives and various internal brand teams
  • Experience either at an agency managing a team, or client side experience managing outside agencies. 
  • Strong project management and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to lead external agencies  
  • Understanding of media research tools: MRI, Simmons, Media Audit, Nielsen, Arbitron
  • Strong analytic skills
  • Strong listening and diplomacy skills
  • Strong indirect and direct influence skills
  • Experience within or with integrated marketing team environments
  • Retail media planning experience
  • Experience working within a complex global matrix organization
  • Media agency experience

Salary: commensurate with experience
