Direct short-term and long-range planning and budget development to support strategic business goals.
Develop and execute the strategic plan of organization (i.e. launch of new product lines, licensing opportunities, launch of retail) in tandem with Owner who will handle creative and design.
Identify potential new store locations, distributors, foreign-based showrooms and other opportunities to expand the business.
Analyze cash flow, cost controls and expenses. Analyze financial statements to pinpoint potential weak areas and implement profit improvement initiatives.
Oversee the development of annual operational budgets with an eye toward low overhead, increased margins and efficiencies and free cash flow generation.
Create annual and monthly sales targets for e-comm, retail & wholesale sales.
Direct and participate in acquisition and growth activities to support overall business objectives and plans. Participate in capital market development.
Develop tools to analyze and adequately evaluate product profitability, margins and review all costing.
Develop changes and improvements in automated financial and logistical information systems for the company (ERP/PLM).
Provide oversight to manufacturing to ensure quality and timely production at optimum pricing to achieve targeted margins.
Work with Production team in procurement of raw materials to optimize pricing, quality and timeliness of delivery while reducing waste.
MBA and ten years’ experience in a leadership role for a smaller brand that has undergone significant growth in the luxury or advanced contemporary space.
5+ years’ experience owning a P&L.
Experience in strategic planning and execution.
Experience motivating teams and simultaneously managing several projects.
Ideal candidate will be a change agent driving a transformation of the culture of the Company into a more analytical driven culture focused on “winning”. Candidate needs to be forward thinking and be able to provide a strategic vision, tactical execution and leadership. Individuals will own the P&L of the business.
Overall, this person should have been deeply involved in the growth of a small brand into a much larger one.
