Job Description:
Talent Engagement/Procurement

  • Support/assist agency talent buyers in the talent procurement process for public relations, advertising, digital
  • and influencer seeding campaigns
  • Based on client briefs, research and compile background and overview information on talent (actors, musicians,
  • athletes, digital influencer, etc.) to consider for potential PR / advertising / marketing campaigns (e.g. athletes,
  • celebrities, digital publishers, etc.)
  • Participate in internal talent casting/brainstorming sessions
  • Talent vetting and background checks (via third party service provider)
  • Development of client-facing materials; casting sheets, scopes, formal offers, contracts and recap documents
  • Support by creating client-ready “sell-in” materials using Microsoft suite of programs (Word, etc.)
  • Monitor and mine sports & entertainment news publications, social media channels, blogs, and broadcast for
  • proactive talent lead content opportunities (gifting, sponsoring, etc.) and generally relevant information for
  • clients, sell in, execute and recap

Campaign Coordination

  • Support agency talent buyer in campaign management & coordinating logistics
  • Facilitate talent approvals of campaign materials
  • Track/document all talent approvals
  • Maintain Contract Tracker for each campaign

General/Administrative

  • Attend regularly scheduled client conference calls
  • Attend in-person client meetings, and new business pitches; participate in presentations to clients and
  • prospective clients
  • Coordinate conference calls between starpower account teams, and clients, agents, etc.
  • Schedule and attend weekly in office talent meet & greets
  • Participate in data entry and database management; leverage database to analyze and provide data for clients
  • Assist in the overall growth of the agency, including new business & networking

Job Requirements
Personal

  • Passion for and strong knowledge of pop-culture/entertainment (entertainment, sports, music, fashion and beauty celebrities, athletes, musicians and digital talent
  • Interest in the business of entertainment
  • Digital/social media savvy
  • Creative, flexible and self-motivate

Work Experience, skills and education

  • 1-2 years of entertainment industry-related experience
  • Experience interacting with brands, agencies (public relations & advertising), athletes, celebrities, agents,
  • managers & publicists
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Bachelors degree; preferred if degree is in a relevant course of study; e.g. business administration, sports management, integrated marketing communications (marketing, PR, advertising)
